Day 1: Depart USA


Day 2: En Route
Fly over the International Dateline on your way to Auckland, New Zealand (cost of flight not included in Land Only price).

Day 3: Arrive in Auckland, New Zealand
Your tour begins at Auckland Airport. You are transferred to your hotel, with a guaranteed early check-in. Later, cruise on Waitemata Harbour for a view of the city. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Drink and dinner with your fellow travelers. (D)

Day 4: Auckland / Rotorua
Travel to the Waitomo Caves to see the serene Glow Worm Grotto on a guided boat tour. Then on to Rotorua where you'll experience The Realm of Tane and a traditional Maori Hangi Highlight Dinner accompanied by local wine and a concert. (B,HD)

Day 5: Rotorua
After breakfast, a local Maori guide will accompany you around the Whakarewarewa Village to gain an insight into Maori culture. Stop at Rainbow Springs Nature Park to see ferns and trees that grow around the crystal clear mineral water springs. You may even spot a kiwi! Then visit the Agrodome Sheep Show for a taste of farm life. Later, why not relax in the local geothermal spas. (B)

Day 6: Rotorua / Queenstown
This morning, fly to Queenstown (cost not included in Land Only price). Explore historic Arrowtown, before an orientation tour of Queenstown. See Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkable Mountain Range and the home of the Bungy Jump at Kawarau Bridge. (B)

Day 7: Queenstown at Leisure
Enjoy a full day at leisure in New Zealand's adventure capital. There are many optional excursions to choose from, including Milford Sound. Ask your Tour Director for details. (B)

Day 8: Queenstown / Melbourne, Australia
Fly to Melbourne, Australia (cost not included in Land Only price). On arrival you are transferred to your hotel. This evening is at leisure to explore the city. (B)

Day 9: Melbourne Sightseeing & at Leisure
On a morning tour, see the Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria Market, the Shrine of Remembrance, Parliament House and much more. After, you are free to explore. Your included Hop-On-Hop-Off city sightseeing ticket will enhance your day. (B)

Day 10: Melbourne / Cairns
Fly to Cairns (cost not included in Land Only price). Visit Rainforestation Nature Park for lunch and experience the indigenous culture and Australian native wildlife in a World Heritage listed rainforest setting. (B,L)

Day 11: Great Barrier Reef Excursion
Cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef aboard a high speed catamaran. Enjoy a reef educational presentation, see a myriad of coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory or go snorkeling (equipment provided) for closer view. Relish a Highlight Lunch before you return to Cairns. (B,HL)

Day 12: Cairns / Sydney
Fly to Sydney (cost not included in Land Only price). On arrival you will be transferred to your city center hotel, where the remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 13: Sydney Sightseeing & at Leisure
Enjoy a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House and a cruise on Sydney Harbour. Then, board your coach to see the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, Watson's Bay and the Gap. Travel to Bondi Beach, where you'll be greeted by a local surf lifeguard before a “You're Personally Invited” Lunch at the Returned Servicemen's Club and an exclusive tour of Australia's oldest surf lifesaving club. Day 14: Sydney at Leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure in this exciting city. You may want to use your included Hop-On- Hop-Off city sightseeing ticket or take an optional excursion. This evening, gather with your newfound friends for a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant. (B,FD)

Day 15: Depart Sydney
Bid farewell as you transfer to Sydney Airport where your tour ends. (B)
